Aakash Bajaj is set to leave Khaitan & Co to establish his independent counsel practice in Kolkata and Delhi.
Commenting on Bajaj's exit, Khaitan Executive Director Amar Sinhji said,

Bajaj commenced his career with Khaitan & Co and was made a Partner in the Delhi office in 2022.
A 2013 alumnus of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Bajaj is an Advocate-on-Record with the Supreme Court.
With nearly 13 years of practice, he has represented and advised leading India and multinational corporations across a wide range of sectors, including constitutional law, taxation law, succession and inheritance law, shareholders disputes, mining law and other commercial laws.
He has appeared before the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and the Calcutta High Court as well as domestic and international arbitral tribunals and other tribunals such as the NCLT, NCLAT and the NGT.
In his independent practice, Bajaj will continue to appear across the full spectrum of litigation, arbitration and regulatory practices, with a primary focus on the Calcutta High Court and the Supreme Court. He has already established offices in Kolkata and Delhi to support his practice.
