Lumiere Law Partners (formerly PDS Legal) recently hired Group General Counsel & Director (Legal) at Max Healthcare Atulya Sharma as a Partner in its Corporate Law practice.
Sharma has previously worked as Global General Counsel for Apollo Tyres Group, Group General Counsel for Deutsche Bank AG (South Asia & Mauritius), Group General Counsel for IDFC and Senior Counsel with IFC (World Bank’s Private Equity Arm).
He has also worked with HSA Advocates, Desai & Diwanji and Dua Associates. He holds an LL.B. from the Campus Law Centre, Delhi University and an LL.M. from City University, London.
Sharma will advise clients on all aspects of corporate commercial laws, regulatory matters, arbitration and litigation, and focus on Structured Finance, Project Finance, ECM/DCM, restructuring, insolvency & bankruptcy, healthcare, infrastructure and M&A/PE.
He has three decades of diverse work experience across cultures and in sectors such as Investment Banking, Structured Finance, Project Finance, Capital Markets (ECM & DCM), M&A, Private Equity, Restructuring, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Anti Bribery & Anti-Corruption, Corporate Governance and Arbitration & Litigation.
