Mukesh Kumar Choudhary joins Unity Small Finance Bank as National Head Legal

Choudhary has nearly two decades of experience handling legal operations in the Banking & Finance sector.

Mukesh Kumar Choudhary has been appointed as the National Head - Legal (Litigation & Non-litigation), Business Banking Group, at Unity Small Finance Bank.

Choudhary is a 2007 graduate of Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.

With nearly two decades of experience in the Banking & Finance sector, Choudhary has held legal leadership roles across multiple leading establishments. He has extensive experience in handling litigation, mortgage due diligence and transactional support, arbitration and contract dispute resolution in the sector. He also has experience managing compliance matters related to SARFAESI, DRT, DRAT, and NCLT (Bankruptcy/Insolvency) proceedings, providing legal advisory services and handling a wide range of legal issues, including drafting various legal documents and representing clients in proceedings before the Supreme Court, High Courts, Lower Courts, Tribunals, and Regulatory Authorities.

His previous engagements include stints at Lendingkart, Aditya Birla Finance, Electronica Finance, SMFG Grihashakti, TVS Credit Services, Hero FinCorp, and Religare Housing Development FinCorp.

At Unity Small Finance Bank, Choudhary will lead PAN India legal operations across both litigation and non-litigation matters.
