Alston & Bird has announced the elevation of Senior Associate Rajat Rana as Partner at the firm's New York office.

Rana is a 2006 graduate of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore and has an LL.M. in International Law from Stanford Law School in 2008. He also completed his Juris Doctorate (JD) in Law from University of Virginia Law School in 2010.

With over 12 years of experience working at firms overseas, Rana has previously worked with Quinn Emanuel, Baker Botts and Dechert LLP in Washington D.C. Metro Area cumulatively for about 8 years. Post this, Rana joined Alston & Bird in Greater New York City Area in April 2018.

After close to 5 years of working with the firm, Rana gets elevated to Partner at the firm's New York office.
