Probir Roy Chowdhury appointed as Co-Chair of JSA’s corporate practice

His predecessor, Vikram Raghani, has been elected to be part of the JSA Executive Committee.

JSA Advocates and Solicitors (JSA) has announced the appointment of Probir Roy Chowdhury as the new Co-Chair for its Corporate Practice Area.

Chowdhury is based out of the Bengaluru office of JSA and has been associated with the firm for over two decades. He focuses extensively on Technology and allied sectors and is recognised for his expertise and work in Fintech/Data Protection and Private Equity/M&A in the IT space.

Chowdhury joins Sidharrth Shankar, the current Co-Chair, and steps in for Vikram Raghani, who has been elected by the JSA Partnership to be part of the JSA Executive Committee.

Commenting on Chowdhury taking over as Corporate Practice Co-Chair, Amar Gupta and Vivek K. Chandy, Joint Managing Partners at JSA, said,

"We wish Probir all the best. Probir has taken up this key responsibility, as Vikram has been elected to the ExComm, and we are confident that Probir will make a meaningful contribution to the continued growth of our strong Corporate Practice, especially further expanding our technology offering."
