PSL Founder Sandeep Bajaj steps down as Managing Partner, firm gets three new Equity Partners

Bajaj has stepped down from his position as PSL's Managing Partner to focus on his Counsel Practice.

In a major reorganization, in line with the firm’s long-term objectives, Sandeep Bajaj, Founder and Managing Partner of PSL, has stepped down from his position as its Managing Partner to focus on his Counsel Practice.

Bajaj has been practicing in the fields of dispute resolution, corporate commercial law and insolvency & bankruptcy and appearing in various courts across India as a counsel. He began his practice in 2007 and has been a core litigator since then. In 2012, he co-founded PAMASIS Law Chambers with Sameer Jain and Siddharth Jain which was later renamed as PSL – Advocates & Solicitors.

Regarding his departure from PSL Advocates and Solicitors, Sandeep Bajaj commented,

"This marks the end of an extraordinary chapter in my life. Leading this exceptional law firm alongside such talented individuals has been a profound privilege. I step away with intense pride in what we've collectively achieved and handing over the baton to the bright young collogues."

Additionally, PSL promoted Aakanksha Nehra, Suvigya Awasthy and Soayib Qureshi to the firm's Equity Partnership.

Nehra has expertise in insolvency, corporate commercial advisory, corporate debt restructuring and recovery laws and joined PSL in 2017.

Awasthy specializes in commercial dispute resolution with a strong focus on construction and infrastructure disputes, domestic and international arbitration and has been associated with the firm since 2017.

Qureshi, who joined PSL in 2016, is an advocate-on-record in the Supreme Court of India, with expertise in dispute resolution, corporate structuring, insolvency & bankruptcy, and constitutional issues.

Further, the Firm has also promoted Vipul Jai as Partner and Himesh Thakur as Counsel.

Commenting on Bajaj's departure and the new promotions, Founder and Managing Partner, Sameer Jain, added,
