Rohit Garg joins Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas as Tax Partner

Garg will be working out of the firm's New Delhi office.

Rohit Garg has joined Shardul Amardchand Mangaldas as a Partner in Tax practice at the firm's New Delhi office.

Garg is a 2011 graduate of the Chaudhary Charan Singh University. He also has professional qualifications of a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Company Secretary (ICSI).

Garg regularly represents clients before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, Income Tax Appellate Tribunals, and other income tax authorities/forums. He also advises Indian and multinational groups on complex tax issues and compliances. He has over 16 years of experience in handling tax litigation matters and has written several articles and research papers. He was also appointed as one of the eminent writers in the “Panel of Eminent Writers” constituted by Taxman.

Prior to joining Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, he worked at DMD Advocates for nearly 6 years and held the position of an Associate Partner.
