Rohit Sharma has joined medical device manufacturing giant Becton Dickinson as Legal Counsel, South Asia at the company's Gurgaon office.

Sharma is a 2010 graduate of Kurukshetra University. He also holds a Diploma in Competition Law from National Law University, Delhi.

He has diverse experience of around 14 years in advising on legal, compliance and regulatory disputes in pharmaceutical, mining, telecom and other healthcare industries.

Before transitioning to an in-house role, he was an Associate Partner at Economic Laws Practice and has also worked with Karanjawala & Co and Senior Advocate Geeta Luthra.

Prior to joining Becton Dickinson, Sharma was a Director, Legal & Compliance at Zimmer Biomet for over two years.
