Rohit Sharma, Rubal Bansal Maini join Luthra and Luthra as Partners

Sharma joins the firm's Mumbai office as a Partner in the IBC team, while Maini joins the firm’s Delhi office as a Partner in the Direct Tax team.

Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India has hired 2 new Partners - Rohit Sharma, who has joined the firm's Mumbai office as a Partner in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy team and Rubal Bansal Maini, who has joined the firm’s Delhi offices as a Partner in the Direct Tax team.

Sharma is a 2004 graduate of the Amity Law School. He earned his LLM in Banking and Finance law from the University College London in 2005.

Sharma has handled several complex domestic and cross-border finance transactions ranging from asset-backed finance (including both aviation and maritime finance), external commercial borrowings, corporate finance, project finance, debenture issuances, and derivatives to securitisation. 

Prior to joining Luthra & Luthra, Sharma was a Partner at Bharucha & Partners for over 3 years.

Maini is a 2010 graduate of the ICFAI Law School. She earned her LLM from the Kurukshetra University.

She carries 13 years of experience in the field of direct taxation laws and commercial laws.

Prior to joining Luthra and Luthra, Maini was a Legal Counsel at the Chamber of Justice (Retd.) RV Easwar, High Court of Delhi.

This takes the total count of partners at the firm to 64.
