Agarwal Law Associates' Shally Bhasin joins Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas as Equity Partner in the Litigation team

Bhasin will be with the firm's Litigation team at the New Delhi office.

Aggarwal Law Associates Partner Shally Bhasin has joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas at the New Delhi office as an Equity Partner with the Litigation practice.

Welcoming Bhasin to the firm, Managing Partner, Pallavi Shroff said,

“We are delighted to have Shally join our Delhi office and her extensive practice and experience will further strengthen our corporate litigation and Supreme Court practice and client offering.”

On the same note, Managing Partner, Akshay Chudasama said,

Bhasin graduated from Delhi University and has over 26 years of experience. Bhasin has done matters relating to financial services, bankruptcy, infrastructure litigation, environment litigation, white collar crime, telecom, tender related litigation, claims for breach of contract, damages, specific performance and injunctions, writ petitions for enforcement of fundamental rights, amalgamation and demergers and taxation related litigation.

She has previously represented clients in the Supreme Court of India, High Courts of Delhi, Kolkata, Orissa, Mumbai, Himachal Pradesh, Bilaspur, Bengaluru, Ranchi, Allahabad, Chennai and Goa and in several specialized tribunals like TDSAT, NCLAT, NCLT and NGT.

Bhasin is also an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India since 2004.

On her joining the firm, Bhasin said,

Recently, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Litigation Partner Anuj Berry had resigned from the firm. He will be joining the Delhi office of Trilegal.
