Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Litigation Partner Anuj Berry resigns to join Trilegal

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Anuj Berry has resigned from the firm and will be joining Trilegal.

Berry was a Partner with the firm’s Litigation, Dispute Resolution and White Collar Defence Group.

He joined the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas in 2006 after graduating from NUJS, Kolkata. He also holds a BCL from the University of Oxford. He was made Partner in 2015.

Berry has been engaged in litigation relating to energy sector disputes, general commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, white collar crime related matters, company law related disputes, and litigation arising out of competition legislation in India.

He practices across all major forums with a focus on commercial disputes before the Supreme Court of India. He has handled ad-hoc international arbitration for major multinational corporations pertaining to infrastructure projects and share purchase agreements. He has also handled institutional international arbitration for major multi-national corporations in the transport and food industries.
