Shashank Garg quits Advani & Co to set up chamber practice

Garg will remain an ‘Of Counsel’ for Advani & Co.

Shashank Garg has left Advani & Co to set up his chamber practice.

After managing Advani & Co's Delhi office for the past five years, Garg will continue to focus on commercial disputes and will remain as an ‘Of Counsel’ for the firm.

He is presently a Counsel for GAIL, DDA, University of Allahabad and High Court of Gujarat amongst others and is part of the Delhi International Arbitration Centre Committee and ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.

On Garg's move, Senior Partner Hiroo Advani said,

"Shashank has been an integral part of our firm for a decade and we wish him all the very best for his new phase. I am sure we will have continuous working engagements with him going forward."

On his departure from the firm Garg said,

"It's been a very rewarding journey and I cannot thank Hiroo and my other colleagues enough for their role and support all these years."

The firm’s Delhi practice will now be steered by newly made Partner Kanika Arora, who will be reporting to Senior Partner Asif Lampwala.
