DMD Partner Sumit Sinha joins Phoenix Legal as a Partner in Corporate practice

Sinha has joined the firm's Delhi office with a team of two lawyers - Ashima Dewan and Sukanya Bhattacharya.

Sumit Sinha has joined Phoenix Legal as a Partner at the firm's New Delhi office. He will be part of the firm’s General Corporate, M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital practice.

Sinha is a 2006 graduate of the Symbiosis Law College, Pune.

Sinha has nearly 17 years of experience. His areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, corporate restructuring and reorganizations, corporate investigations, white-collar crimes and general corporate and commercial transactions.

He has been advising domestic and international clients, private equity funds, hedge funds, banks & financial institutions and business houses across a range of sectors. He has significant transactional experience and had been actively involved in some large M&A and private equity deals in the country.

He has previously worked with leading law firms such as Trilegal, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and JSA.

Prior to joining Phoenix Legal, Sinha held the position of a Partner at DMD Advocates for 6 years.

Sinha joins Phoenix Legal with a team of 2 lawyers - Ashima Dewan (Associate Partner) and Sukanya Bhattacharya (Senior Associate).
