Formerly Director Legal, South Asia and Executive Director at Johnson & Johnson Tapan Pati has left the company to join Godrej & Boyce as Senior Vice President and Group General Counsel.

Pati is a 2000 graduate of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore.

With over 22 years of experience, Pati has held leadership positions as an in-house counsel at Yum Brands and Hilton Worldwide, before joining Johnson & Johnson in 2015.

He was with J&J for over 8 years before quitting to join Godrej & Boyce as SVP & Group General Counsel.

On his new position at Godrej & Boyce, Pati wrote on a LinkedIn post,

"It is a real honour to work for one of corporate India’s oldest, most trusted and diversified conglomerates"

Pati works out of the company's Mumbai office
