Formerly Senior Legal Advisor with Oyo Homes and Hotels Tejal Patil has joined Wipro as General Counsel and Senior Vice President.

Patil will be replacing Deepak Acharya, who is leaving Wipro to join Aditya Birla Group in October.

Patil is a 1993 graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai and is a Solicitor at both the Bombay Incorporated Law Society and the Law Society of England and Wales.

With close to 30 years of experience, Patil started her career working with law firms in Mumbai and Bengaluru. She was associated with GE for close to 19 years where she held leadership positions and was the Group General Counsel of GE South Asia before joining OYO Homes and Hotels as Senior Legal Advisor.

At Wipro, Patil will head the legal and compliance, global data, privacy and government affairs function and will be part of the Wipro Executive Council.
