Trilegal today announced a hike in retainer bands across all levels. This would result in lawyers getting increments over and above the normal increments as the PQE retainer bands have been enhanced.

The partnership has also decided to increase the fixed component of the retainer, which means a lawyer at the firm will receive a larger monthly retainer.

The split between the fixed (monthly) retainer payments and annual performance-based retainer payments has been changed, as a result of which a lawyer will receive a greater portion of the annual retainer as a fixed monthly payment.

The increments will be effective from April 1, 2021.
