Former Partner at PSA, Varun Kalsi has joined Desai & Diwanji as a Partner in the firm's Real Estate and Corporate practice group.
Kalsi is a 2007 graduate of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and holds an LL.M. from New York University (NYU) School of Law.
He has over 12 years of experience in the space, and had previously worked with Dua Associates for 9 years.
Smriti Mehta has been elevated as Partner effective April 2021.
She is a 2007 graduate of Symbiosis International University and holds an LLM in International Business Laws from London School of Economics (LSE).
With over 13 years of specialist experience in areas of banking and finance, she has advised several offshore and onshore banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, funds and companies in both public and private sectors.
Mehta has been with D&D for over 3 years, prior to which she was an in-house counsel with ICICI Bank Limited.
