Varun Kumar joins Anant Raj Limited as Head – Legal

Real estate and infrastructure law professional Varun Kumar has joined Anant Raj Limited as Head – Legal.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Kumar has nearly two decades of experience across litigation, arbitration, insolvency, regulatory affairs, corporate advisory and complex real estate transactions. He has built a distinguished career advising and representing organizations before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, NCLT, NCLAT, NGT, Consumer Fora and regulatory authorities. His professional journey has been deeply rooted in the real estate and infrastructure sectors, encompassing large-scale developments, insolvency resolution processes, land and regulatory matters, commercial transactions and high-stakes dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Anant Raj Limited, Kumar held a senior legal leadership position with Jaypee Infratech, where he played a key role in managing legal and strategic matters during a critical phase of the company's post-resolution transformation.

At Anant Raj, Kumar is expected to lead the legal function across litigation, transactions, regulatory compliance, risk management and strategic advisory, supporting Company's expanding business interests and future growth initiatives.

Speaking on the occasion, Kumar stated,
