Argus Partner Vinod Joseph joins Economic Laws Practice as Partner

Vinod Joseph has quit Argus Partners to join Economic Laws Practice as a Partner.

Joseph is a 1998 graduate of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore. He earned his LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Laws in 2003 from London School of Economics and Political Science. He is qualified as an Indian advocate as well as an English Solicitor and as a Californian attorney.

With over 23 years of experience, Joseph is a lawyer with varied experience in Corporate M&A, Banking, Capital Markets, Funds, Asset Management, Employment Law and IT/Outsourcing.

Joseph held the position of a Partner at Argus Partners for over 4 years. He has previously worked as in-house counsel with Global Infrastructure Partners India LLP, IDFC Alternatives, Bennett Coleman. Prior to that, he was a Partner at Dua Associates.

At ELP, his role would include structuring and setting up private equity and venture capital funds, preparing fund documents and obtaining requisite regulatory approvals for such funds from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA).
