[Exclusive]: Cyril Amarchand hires Khaitan’s Anshuman Sakle for Competition Practice

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has hired Khaitan & Co’s Principal Associate Anshuman Sakle as a Partner in its Competition practice in Mumbai.

The firm’s Managing Partner Cyril Shroff confirmed Anshuman’s joining.

The hire comes after the resignation of Competition Head Nisha Kaur Uberoi, who is leaving the firm to join AZB & Partners.

The firm recently also promoted Bharat Budholia to partnership in the competition practice. With Anshuman’s hire, the firm will have two competition partners.

Confirming Anshuman’s exit, Khaitan HR Director Amar Sinhji said,

“Anshuman is someone who has grown with our firm and we wish only the very best for him in his future endeavours.”

A graduate of Symbiosis Law School, Anshuman started his career with Khaitan. He has worked on secondment with A&L Goodbody’s Dublin office for a period of 3 months.
