DTC to start bus service connecting courts in Delhi after meeting with DHCBA

The bus services can be availed by lawyers, law clerks and litigants upon payment of nominal fares decided by DTC.

The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has reached an agreement with the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) to operate buses connecting various courts in Delhi.

Senior Advocate N Hariharan, the President of Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) has announced that soon bus services operated by Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) connecting the courts in Delhi will be functional.

DHCBA president N Hariharan announced the same following a meeting with Special Commissioner and Managing Director of DTC.

As pet the arrangement, DTC will run 3 buses between Delhi High Court and Tis Hazari court and vice versa. DTC shall also run buses from High Court to Saket court.

These buses shall connect all tribunals and commissions on the way including Delhi State Commission, National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Patiala House court, National Green Tribunal and Supreme Court of India.

The buses shall also connect major metro stations and Dwarka and Karkardooma courts with dedicated announcement.

The bus service can be availed by litigants, law clerks and advocates on payment of fares fixed by DTC.
