Economic Laws Practice has promoted eight of its lawyers to partnership across Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Ahmedabad. This takes the total number of partners at the firm to 26.
In Mumbai, the firm has promoted four to partnership – Aakanksha Joshi, Harsh Shah, Jitendra Motwani and Ranjeet Mahtani.
In Delhi, the firm has promoted Kumar Visalaksh and Ravisekhar Nair to partnership.
Karthik Sundaram and Hardik Modh have been made partners at Chennai and Ahmedabad respectively.
Harsh Shah, Karthik Sundaram, Kumar Visalaksh and Ranjeet Mahtani are part of the firm’s Tax team.
Harsh Shah has previously worked with Deloitte and PwC before joining ELP. Karthik Sundaram, a graduate of Symbiosis Law School joined ELP in 2006. Kumar Visalaksh joined ELP in 2006 after graduating from NALSAR, Hyderabad. Ranjeet Mahtani joined ELP in 2007 from Deloitte.
Raviskhar is part of the the firm’s Competition team. Aakanksha Joshi is part of the Infrastructure team while Hardik Modh and Jitendra Motwani are part of the Litigation and Disputes team.
Ravisekhar joined ELP from Luthra & Luthra. He is a graduate of NLIU, Bhopal. A graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai, Joshi joined the firm in 2009 from DSK Legal.
The firm had recently also promoted two of its Senior Associates, Rajat Chhabra and Vivek Baj, to Associate Partner.
