Linklaters promotes NLSIU grad Sushil Jacob to Counsel

Linklaters has recently promoted Sushil Jacob from Managing Associate to Counsel in London. He is part of the firm’s India practice. Prior to London, Sushil spent over 3 years in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Sushil started his career at AZB & Partners after graduating from National Law School of India University, Bangalore in 2002. He worked at AZB till 2006 after which he moved to London to pursue his Masters at London School of Economics. Thereafter, he joined Linklaters in 2007.

Narayan Iyer, head of Linklaters’ India practice, in the release commented,

“Sushil is an extremely talented lawyer with wide ranging experience advising on joint ventures, acquisitions, disposals and international capital markets. He is a key member of our India-facing offering and has been involved in a number of path-breaking transactions.”

Narayan Iyer was recently appointed as the head of firm’s India Practice succeeding Sandeep Katwala, who founded the firm’s India practice 10 years ago.
