Supreme Court Collegium recommends four Telangana High Court judges be made permanent

The judges were appointed to the High Court in 2025.

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended that four judges appointed to the Telangana High Court in 2025 be made permanent.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Collegium held on Tuesday.

The Additional Judges recommended for permanent appointment are:

- Justice Yara Renuka;

- Justice Nandikonda Narsing Rao;

- Justice E Tirumala Devi; and

- Justice BR Madhusudhan Rao.

The Telangana High Court, which has a sanctioned strength of 42, is currently functioning with 28 judges, a vacancy position of 14.
