United Breweries Limited (UBL) has appointed Neha Munjral as its new Director – Legal, effective October 1, 2025.

Her appointment follows the resignation of Shelly Kohli, who moves to Heineken as Regional Legal Director for APAC.

Munjral brings over 17 years of experience across multinational corporations and law firm practice in India. Most recently, she served as General Counsel and Head of CSR at GE Healthcare for its medical device business in India & South Asia, where she also led enterprise risk management and sat on the board of GEBEL Private Limited, a joint venture between GE Healthcare and Bharat Electronics.

Her earlier career included a leadership role as General Counsel of GE Power India Limited, along with formative years at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, New Delhi.

A graduate of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore (2007) and an LL.M holder from New York University School of Law, Munjral is recognised for her expertise in strategic board management, complex deal negotiation, compliance and investigations, and enterprise risk management.

Her appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors on September 5, 2025, on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
