Obhan & Associates promotes Charul Yadav to Partnership

Obhan & Associates has promoted Charul Yadav to Partnership. Yadav has over 14 years of experience in the field of IP, with special expertise in the life science domain.

She has also been active in patent litigation before various courts and forums in India. Yadav is a 2013 graduate of Faculty of Law at Delhi University. She had rejoined Obhan in January this year from Lex Orbis.

The firm has also made two Principal Associates – Vrinda Patodia and Ritika Udhanu and two Senior Associates – Glen Pappan and Mehak Dhingra.

Vrinda Patodia is the office lead for Pune and has worked extensively on M&A and investment transactions. She has also worked on numerous technology licensing transactions and regularly advises her clients on corporate advisory and foreign investment matters. Patodia is a 2013 graduate of ILS Law College, Pune.

Ritika Udhani has experience for over a decade in patent law. She has drafted and prosecuted numerous patent applications in India, US, and EP. Her practice covers a wide range of technological domains, but primarily her expertise includes software and the other computer-related inventions, electro-mechanical devices and wireless communications.

Glen Pappan focuses on drafting patent applications for India, US, EP, and other Jurisdictions, and carries more than 10 years of experience in Patents. He has cumulatively drafted numerous patent applications and practices in a wide range of technological domains, such as heavy machinery, automotive technology, medical devices, general engineering etc.

Mehak Dhingra specializes in Trademark oppositions and Trademark Strategy. She has successfully defended TM portfolios for large corporations in India. She is a 2016 graduate of Amity Law School.
