In a statement released on Monday, the NIA said that Jasbir Bilal Wani @ Danish was a key associate of Dr Umar Nabi who was in the i20 car that exploded near Red Fort.

Danish had allegedly provided technical support for carrying out terror attacks by modifying drones and attempting to make rockets ahead of the deadly car bomb blast.

Following his arrest, Danish was produced before Special Judge Manjeet Rai with an application for transit remand.

In an order passed on Monday, the Court said,

The accused was given transit remand till November 19 with a direction to the NIA to produce him before the competent court for appropriate orders after the expiry of the remand.

Meanwhile, the NIA said that it continues to explore various angles to unravel the conspiracy behind the bombing.

"Several teams of the anti-terror agency are pursuing multiple leads, and are conducting searches across states to identify every person involved in the terror," it added in the statement release on Monday.
