SAM Partner Shruti Kanodia leaves to set up her own boutique firm

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Corporate Partner Shruti Kanodia has left the firm to set up her own firm.

Commenting on Shruti’s move, SAM Managing Partner Pallavi Shroff said,

“Our best wishes to her.”

Shruti has over 10 years of experience as a corporate lawyer focusing on private and public mergers & acquisitions, structured finance, and restructuring. She has extensive experience in advising on corporate compliances, securities laws, foreign exchange management laws, and regulatory issues.

She is a 2008 graduate of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She started her career with S&R Associates. In 2010, she moved to Amarchand Mangaldas. She was made a Partner in 2016.

On her decision to leave the firm, Shruti said,

“I am grateful to SAM and especially, Mr. and Mrs. Shroff and Gunjan for providing me their guidance and support for the last 10 years. I have had the pleasure of working with some really wonderful team-mates over the years and I thank them for their hard work and friendships.

I would not like to comment on my future plans at this point in time.”
