Maharashtra’s NLU to be located in Nagpur; State to also consider setting up NLUs in Aurangabad, Mumbai

According to this report in the Times of India, the Maharashtra State Cabinet has cleared the proposal to establish a National Law University at Nagpur. The institute, to be named the Maharashtra National Law University, shall be accepting admissions through the Common Law Admission Test. The institute is expected to receive financial support to the tune of Rs. 125 crore from the State government.
