#RecTracker – (C) Amarchand Mangaldas hires 12, (S) Amarchand takes 4 from GNLU’s Class of ‘16

A total of 24 students of the Class of ’16 have been placed at Gujarat National Law University in Gandhinagar. The university’s Day Zero for the Class of ’16 was held yesterday and saw the participation of a number of firms including J Sagar Associates, Khaitan &  Co, and Trilegal.

As per the official press release issued by GNLU, the recruitment process was for the ’16 batch was initiated in January this year, in which 115 out of the 155 students opted to sit for recruitment. Since then, the university received a total of 9 Pre-Placement Offer, the highest so far for any GNLU batch. The press note also said that the salaries (CTC) being offered ranged from 11-18 lakh.

A total of 80 students applied to the firms participating in the Day Zero, of which 15 were recruited. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was the biggest recruiter by a margin, hiring a total of 12 students.
