IC RegFin Legal, Goyel & Goyal act on Raana Semiconductors seed fundraise

Raana Semiconductors Private Limited has raised $3 million from a seed fundraise, led by Equirus Innovatex Fund and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from IvyCap Ventures, PointOne Capital, IIMA Ventures, and angel investor Garimella Laxminarayana.

IC RegFin Legal represented Raana Semiconductors on this fundraise.

The trabsaction team consisted of Abhisshek Singlla (Partner), Prajjwal Sharma (Senior Associate), Rose J. (Associate), and Vaishnavi Singh (Trainee Associate)

Goyel & Goyal has acted for lead investor Artha Venture Fund on this fundraise. The Firm advised on all aspects including drafting of definitive agreements, legal due diligence and regulatory nuances for the Company's business, negotiation, and closing.

The transaction team was led by Akshit Goyal (Partner), and included Keshav Saboo (Senior Associate), and Associates Riya Kapoor and Aparna Mukherjee.

Raana Semiconductors is a deep-tech company focused on indigenous Czochralski (CZ) silicon crystal growth systems and single-crystal materials.

The Company will deploy the capital to accelerate product development and R&D for silicon ingot growers aimed initially at solar-grade applications and longer-term semiconductor capabilities.
