Logistics optimisation startup Locus, which is operated by Mara Labs Inc., has secured $22 million in a funding round led by New York-based hedge fund Falcon Edge and VC firm Tiger Global.
Existing investors Exfinity Venture Partners and Blume Ventures also participated in this funding round.
Inventus Law acted for Mara Labs and the team included Counsel Vivek Boray and Foreign Counsel Neha Reddy.
Anoma Legal represented Mara Studios and the team was led by Partner Abhinav Singh, along with Associate Nikunj Bajaj.
Partner Yash Rana along with associate Ananth Lakshman from Goodwin Procter represented Falcon Edge.
Gunderson Dettmer acted for Tiger Global with a team led by Partner Jonathan C Petzien along with Associate Jolyn Ang
Mani Chengappa & Mathur advised Exfinity Venture Partners and the team included Partner Samuel Mani, Senior Associate Sindhushree Gadasalli and Associates Neha Susan Rajan.
The company will use the capital to expand further into its new markets North America and Southeast Asia, which it entered last year. Part of the funds will also go towards revamping its local teams, reported VCCircle.
