Khaitan, AZB act on Multiples bagging controlling stake in VIP Bags for ₹1,763 crore

Multiples Private Equity Fund has acquired a controlling stake of ~32% in VIP Industries Limited for an aggregate consideration of ₹1,763 crore.

Khaitan & Co advised Multiples on this stake acquisition deal. The Firm assisted with the diligence of the VIP, structuring the transaction, negotiating and finalization of transaction documents. The firm also advised on the mandatory tender offer.
