Khaitan & Co acts on OZi fundraise

Ozi Technologies Private Limited has raised $6.2 million from a fundraise led by RTP Global SEA Limited, with participation from existing investors Blume Ventures, Huddle Ventures, Zeropearl VC, and some angel investors.

Khaitan & Co advised lead investor RTP Global on this fundraise.

The core transaction team consisted of Nidhi Killawala (Partner), Akhairaj Singh (Senior Associate), Shatakshi Gupta (Senior Associate) and Anannya Wal (Associate).

Nirupam Lodha (Partner), Shivangi Narang (Principal Associate) and Palak Dwivedi (Associate) advised on the IP aspects of diligence.

Founded by Amit Sah, OZi is engaged in development and licensing of the online platforms (including web page and mobile application ‘OZi’); trading in baby and kid's merchandise; and rendering of ancillary services such as warehousing, marketing, last mile delivery and customer support.

The fresh funding will be utilized for strengthening Ozi's presence throughout Gurugram and the NCR region, enhancing brand development and technology, and broadening its product range.
