Khaitan & Co advises Kaynes Semicon on Fiscal Support Agreement with India Semiconductor Mission

Kaynes Semicon Private Limited is executing the fiscal support agreement with the India Semiconductor Mission.

Khaitan & Co advised Kaynes Semicon on this transaction. The Firm assisted Kaynes Semicon in reviewing, revising, negotiating the fiscal support agreement executed with India Semiconductor Mission.

Pursuant to the agreement, the Government of India has agreed to extend fiscal support to Kaynes Semicon in setting up of the Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test Facility in Sanand, Gujarat.

This strategic fiscal support from the Government of India reaffirms India's commitment to position itself as a key player in the global semiconductor ecosystem.
