Sembcorp Green Infra Private Limited has acquired 100% stake in ReNew Sun Bright Private Limited (which owns and operates a 300MW solar power asset in Rajasthan) from ReNew Private Limited, for ~₹1,700 crore ($190 million).

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Sembcorp on this acquisition deal.

The transaction was led by Jatin Aneja (Partner and National Practice Head – Infrastructure, Energy and Project Finance) and Dhrupad Pant (Partner), along with Ishita Sehgal (Principal Associate), Suryansh Srivastava (Associate), and Pratyush Gupta (Associate), Abhishek Choudhary (Associate), and Khushi Joshi (Associate).

The transaction team was supported by Ashoo Gupta (Partner) and Nitika Dwivedi (Partner), along with Nimish Malpani (Principal Associate), Janhavi Singh (Associate), Saksham Nalotia (Associate) and Sonal Nandu (Associate).
