SAM, Arthur Cox advise Mindspace Business Parks on acquisition of Q City, Hyderabad

Mindspace Business Parks REIT has acquired Q-City, an IT Park based in Hyderabad, Telangana through acquisition of 100% shareholding of Mack Soft Tech Private Limited, an Indian subsidiary of the Quinn Group based out of Ireland.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Mindspace on this acquisition.

The transaction was led by Nikhil Naredi - Partner, and Abhishek Parekh – Partner, and the deal team comprised of Natalee Nanda – Partner, Akshath Vidyanath – Senior Associate, and Divya Venkatramani – Associate.

The corporate due diligence team was led by Parekh and Nanda, with support from Akshath Vidyanath – Senior Associate, Divya Venkatramani – Associate, and Stuti Singh – Associate.

The real estate due diligence was led by Bhoumick Vaidya – Partner and Asmita Hegde – Senior Associate. They also advised on the real estate aspects of the transaction.

Rohit Tiwari – Partner and Saloni Tyagi – Principal Associate advised on the capital markets aspects of the transaction.

Rohan Arora – Partner and Varalika Mendiratta – Associate advised on the competition law aspects of the transaction.

Arthur Cox LLP acted as the legal advisors to Mindspace on the Irish law aspects of the transaction.

This acquisition is the first third party acquisition by Mindspace Business Parks REIT outside its Portfolio Parks.
