TT&A acts on Meolaa Pre-Series A fundraise

Meolaa E-Commerce Private Limited has raised $6 million from a pre-Series A fundraise led by General Catalyst.

TT&A advised the lead investor General Catalyst, India.

The transaction team consisted of Sachin Mehta (Partner), Harshit Chandra (Partner), Utsav Agarwal (Managing Associate) and Shubham Gupta (Associate).

Founded in 2023 by Ishita Sawant, Meolaa plans to develop a portfolio of purpose-driven, digital-first microbrands fueled by a shared platform supporting cross-brand innovation, supply chain resilience, and marketing. Meolaa is starting with the beauty and personal care (BPC) market, one of India’s fastest-growing sectors.
