IPR Law Associates is looking to hire a professional partner in Mumbai.

Positions: One

PQE: 8-10 Years

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: Law Degree from a recognised university and Sanad.


  • Eight to ten years of progressive, relevant experience in the field of IP laws (Trademark, Copyright, Industrial Design & Patent);

  • Team management and multitasking skills in fast-paced, high volume environment;

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills;

  • Good time management and organizational management skills;

  • Proficient in computer applications.


  • Role of a professional partner is a senior management role to ardently manage the firms' practices and organisational policies;

  • The role is to work in coordination, supervision and support with the law associates, majorly non-litigation activities;

  • The role is to work in coordination with the senior management to develop and implement the firm's operational strategy;

  • Research and innovation in bringing development in firm's qualitative & quantitative growth;

  • Balancing liveliness & efficiency at work-place to add values in the role;

  • Contribution into the groups' digitization initiatives.


  1. Daily planning and executing the day to day functions of the firm.

  2. Providing guidance on intellectual property assignments to associates, service departments and clients.

  3. Leading a team of attorneys, supporting, monitoring and managing talent and efficiencies to cause the development of team members.

  4. Representing clients at IP statutory bodies and courts, when required.

  5. Drafting legal documents related to diverse assignments of Trademark, Copyright, Industrial Design & Patent.

  6. Guiding in handling IP prosecution, opposition procedures.

  7. Giving legal advice to clients on appointment, when required.

  8. Drafting and attending IP related lawsuits matters in collaboration with the required team.

  9. Attending situational requirements of recruiting attorneys, training & mentoring attorneys.

  10. Setting up apt systems to manage tasks and generating reports for transparent operations.

  11. Periodical review, feedback, follow up actions for improvement of the team members.

  12. Periodical updates to the management as per the organizational framework.

  13. Participating in the Firm's developmental strategy planning and implementation of strategy.


Must have a law degree from recognised university and Sanad. Should also have specialisation in IP. Further, Master of Law or other specialisations in IP adds value.

Must be eligible to practice law in courts of India.

Remuneration: Starting with 1.25 lacs per month plus perks.
