JMRK Legal Associates is looking to hire Junior/ Middle/ Senior level Advocates in Delhi.

Positions: One (1) vacancy at each level

PQE:

1. Junior Level - Up to 5 years

2. Middle Level - 5-10 years

3. Senior Level - 10+ years

Location: Delhi

Qualification: L.L.B

Job Description

1. Junior Level

  • Conduct legal research and prepare research notes on statutory provisions and related case laws.

  • Read, review, and analyze documents and prepare comprehensive case briefs.

  • Assist in drafting pleadings and other deeds and documents.

  • Handle paperwork and maintain case files.

  • Provide support in court filings, hearings, and client interactions.

  • Work closely with senior team members to learn case strategies and legal procedures.

2. Middle-Level

  • Assist seniors and mentor junior legal professionals.

  • Handle court appearances.

  • Conduct detailed legal research and prepare comprehensive case briefs.

  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, and other deeds and documentation.

  • Manage multiple cases effectively and work with minimum supervision.

3. Senior Level

  • Appear in complex litigation matters across various fora and handle court appearances.

  • Review and analyze documents/ information and formulate strategies with attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines, while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Lead the drafting and review of complex pleadings and other deeds and documents.

  • Provide strategic advisory in diverse areas of law.

  • Manage, mentor, and oversee the work of junior and mid-level legal professionals.

  • Manage multiple cases effectively and work with minimum supervision.

Eligibility Criteria and Essential Attributes

1. Junior Level

  • Law degree from an accredited premier law college in India.

  • Post-qualification experience of up to 5 years.

  • Excellent academic record and in-depth knowledge of basic laws.

  • Command over English with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Research, analytical, and legal writing skills.

  • Ability and willingness to assist Seniors and handle filing and documentation.

2. Middle Level

  • Law degree from an accredited premier law college in India.

  • Post-qualification experience of 5-10 years.

  • Knowledge of civil/criminal legal principles and procedures along with necessary court craft, legal research, analytical and drafting skills.

  • Strong command over English with great communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to mentor juniors, as well as assist Seniors, while working in a team set-up.

  • Ability to handle cases with minimum supervision.

3. Senior Level

  • Law degree from an accredited premier law college in India.

  • Minimum 10 years experience in handling litigation across all courts/ other fora, including advisory services.

  • Strong knowledge of civil/criminal legal principles and procedures along with proficiency in court craft, legal research, analysis, and drafting.

  • Exceptional command over English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Capability to lead a team of experienced legal professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.

  • Strong administrative and management abilities along with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Remuneration: Based on candidate's profile, qualification and experience (open to negotiation).
