SDS Advocates is looking to hire Associate / Senior Associate in Mumbai.

Positions: 2 (Two)

PQE: 

- Minimum 2 years for Senior Associate

- 1 year for Associate (Internship period to be excluded)

Qualification: BBA.LLB / BA.LLB from reputed college

Location: Mumbai

Job Description

The Corporate Team (non-litigation) is primarily involved in the following areas of law:

• Banking and Finance, Fintech, Mergers, IBC,

• AIF and allied SEBI Regulations;

• Structured Finance;

• General Corporate;

• Family Offices/ Estate Planning;

• Digital Personal Data Protection;

• Due Diligence (SME/IPO)

• NCDS and CCDs issuance/Investment Laws

• Digital Lending; and

• Other transaction advisories and research.

Job Description includes but is not limited to:

• Drafting/Vetting of various transactional agreements;

• Drafting opinions;

• Due Diligence;

• Responsible for transaction handling;

• Research on various areas of laws;

• Client handling and meetings;

• Negotiation;

• Team building and knowledge sharing;

• Tracking Updates and preparing the same for the Firm

Requirements

Candidates with the following will be preferred:

1. Past Experience: Candidate with past law firm working experience (non-litigation) in general corporate, due diligence, capital market, private equity, banking and finance, real estate and transaction team;

2. Skill set: Passionate, dependable, responsible, dynamic, Sound Knowledge of law, Team Leadership, Team player, out of box thinker, sound be smart and have great communication skills.

3. LLM in Corporate and Commercial law or Banking and Finance will be advantageous.

Remuneration:

Up to ₹6.5 lakh per annum on retainer-ship basis for Senior Associate.

Up to ₹5.5 lakh per annum on retainer-ship basis for Associate.
