SDS Advocates is looking to hire legal associates in Mumbai

SDS Advocates are looking to hire one Senior Associate and one Associate for their corporate team (non-litigation) in Mumbai.

Number of Positions: 2 (Two)

• Senior Associates – 1 position

• Associate – 1 position

PQE: 1-2+ years (excluding internships)

• Senior Associate - minimum 2+ years in law firm

• Associate - minimum 1 year in law firm

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: BBA/ BA. LLB from a reputed college.

Corporate Team (non-litigation), primarily in the following areas of law:

• Banking and Finance,

• Fintech,

• Mergers,

• IBC, 

• AIF & allied SEBI Regulations;

• Structured Finance;

• General Corporate;

• Family Offices/Estate Planning;

• Digital Personal Data Protection;

• Due Diligence (SME/IPO)

• NCDS and CCDs issuance/Investment Laws

• Digital Lending; and

• other transaction advisories and research.

Including but not limited to:

• Drafting/Vetting of various transactional agreements;

• Drafting opinions;

• Responsible for transaction handling;

• Research on various areas of laws;

• Client handling and meetings;

• Negotiation;

• Team building and knowledge sharing;

• Tracking Updates and preparing the same for the firm

Candidates with following will be preferred:

1. Past Experience:  Candidate with past Law firm working experience (non-litigation) in general corporate, banking and finance, real estate and transaction team;

2. Skill set: Passionate, dependable, responsible, dynamic, Sound Knowledge of law, Team Leadership, Team player, out of box thinker, sound be smart and have great communication skills.

Hiring will be on a retainership basis

• Senior Associate: INR 7.2 lakh per annum

• Associate: INR 6 lakh per annum

Yearly bonus will be paid separately and can be discussed during the interview.
