Akshay Kishore has joined Duane Morris & Selvam as Director and Head of the firm's India Dispute Resolution Practice.

Kishore is a 2007 graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai. He earned his LL.M. in International Taxation from New York University School of Law.

He has previously worked for ALMT Legal, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, AZB & Partners, Ashurst, Economic Laws Practice and Bird & Bird.

He is dual-qualified in India and the UK and brings to the firm extensive international experience in cross-border commercial disputes. He has advised clients in high-stakes arbitration, mediation, adjudication and regulatory investigations, including anti-bribery and corruption matters.

His sector focus includes infrastructure, construction, energy and mining, pharmaceuticals, shipping, telecoms and cross-border investments. He has acted under major arbitration rules such as SIAC, ICC, LCIA, DIAC, MCIA, and UNCITRAL.
