Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Real Estate Partner Abhilash Pillai resigns to join Trilegal

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Real Estate Partner Abhilash Pillai has resigned from the firm and is set to join Trilegal.

Pillai is a 2004 graduate of Government Law College, Trivandrum.

Pillai has over two decades of experience advising on complex real estate transactions across India, which include work spanning acquisitions, joint ventures, development, monetisation, title diligence, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on supporting institutional investors, developers, and asset owners.

His addition strengthens Trilegal’s Real Estate practice at a time of continued institutional investment and increasing deal complexity across commercial, logistics, infrastructure-linked, mixed-use, and other real asset classes.

Welcoming Pillai to the firm, Nishant Parikh and Sridhar Gorthi, Partners and Members of the Management Committee, Trilegal, said,
