Former LKS Executive Partner Shafaq Uraizee Sapre joins JSA in Mumbai

Shafaq Uraizee Sapre has joined J. Sagar Associates as a retained partner in the Mumbai office. Sapre will be part of Sandeep Mehta’s team in Mumbai.

Sapre is a specialist in M&A, JV and PE investments with a total experience of 18 years.

Sapre has worked in Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan as an Executive Partner and Head of Corporate Practice (West & South India).

Prior to this, she was a Partner in Bharucha & Partners. Before that she was at Nishith Desai, where she was Head of JV practice and Co-Head M&A and Disputes Practice.

Sapre has done her LL.B. (2001) and LL.M (2003) from the Mumbai University.
