Former CAM Partner Yashojit Mitra, L&L Partners' Mumtaz Bhalla join Economic Laws Practice

Mitra will oversee the corporate commercial practice of the firm, across all its offices.

Yashojit Mitra has returned to Economic Laws Practice (ELP) as a Partner after eight years at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

The firm has also announced the joining of Mumtaz Bhalla from L&L Partners Law Offices.

Mitra will oversee the corporate commercial practice of the firm, across all its offices. He has over 18 years of experience in M&A, foreign investments, private equity transactions and inbound and outbound investments.

With over 13 years of experience in the field of litigation and dispute resolution, Bhalla possesses significant experience in civil trial, criminal trial, PMLA issues, constitutional issues and consumer disputes. She is also an Advocate on Record at the Supreme Court of India.

Speaking about the new hires, ELP Managing Partner Suhail Nathani, said in a press release,
