All is well with the system. Or so says Delhi High Court’s Chief Justice G Rohini.

In a letter addressed to Law Minister Sadananda Gowda, she has responded to allegations made against the transparency of the Delhi Judicial Services recruitments.

As reported by Times of India, Rohini has written that the allegations of “favoritism and nepotism were unwarranted & unfounded.” She goes on to dismiss the notion prevailing among various members of the intelligentsia on how the answer sheets were evaluated by sitting judges of the Delhi High Court.

Conclusively, she has expressed her opinion over investigating the episode any further by saying that ‘no rule existed for a re-evaluation,’ and the recruitment process shall not be cancelled/re-worked.

The subordinate judiciary selection process has been shrouded with the selection row controversy this year.

Earlier, the matter had reached the Apex Court with the Supreme Court issuing notice while refusing to stay the ongoing selections.
