"Not our job": Delhi High Court rejects PIL to change boundaries of UP, Haryana and Punjab

The plea by one JP Singh also prayed that the common High Court for Punjab and Haryana should be bifurcated and a separate High Court should be established for Punjab at Jalandhar.

The Delhi High Court on Thursday dismissed a public interest litigation (PIL) petition seeking directions to change the boundaries of the States of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana and to shift the capital of Haryana from Chandigarh to Kurukshetra [JP Singh v Union of India & Ors].
