Saket Bar Association has requested the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, Justice Rajendra Menon to direct all District Judges in Delhi and their subordinate judges to not pass any adverse orders on May 23.
In its letter dated May 14, the Association has written that “large number of members of the legal fraternity will be busy in viewing the results” of the Lok Sabha Elections on May 23.
The Association has thus sought the cooperation from the District Judges and their Sub ordinate Judges.
“..It is therefore humbly requested to issue the necessary directions to all the Hon’ble Judges at Delhi & all the sub ordinate judges for cooperation and not to pass any adverse orders on the said date.“, the Association has requested.
Meanwhile, the District Bar Association at Jhajjar has decided to suspend all work in view of the Election Results on May 23.
The Resolution passed by the Association informs that proxy counsel would be deputed to attend all the cases in Courts on May 23.
