IAMC, Hyderabad signs MoU with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre

The International Arbitration and Mediation Centre Hyderabad has taken a significant step towards fostering international collaboration in dispute resolution.

On May 30, 2024 IAMC, Hyderabad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), solidifying strategic ties between the two leading institutions.

The signing ceremony for the MoU took place at the DIAC headquarters in Dubai.

Tariq Khan, Registrar of IAMC, signed on behalf of IAMC, and Jehad Kazim, Executive Director of DIAC, signed for DIAC. The event was graced by the presence of DIAC court members and Justice L. Nageswara Rao, Life Trustee of IAMC.

This MoU marks a commitment from both institutions to work jointly in promoting international arbitration through their respective strengths and expertise. It also paves the way for a range of collaborative activities, including conferences, workshops, and training programs on international arbitration and other dispute resolution mechanisms, as per the joint press release.

This MoU also marks a pivotal moment in India-Dubai relations within the international arbitration landscape.

By joining forces, IAMC and DIAC aim to deliver a series of joint events, training programs, and initiatives that will benefit practitioners and stakeholders in both regions.
